Group Facilitator
Job Description:
Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our dynamic team. As a Group Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients on their path to recovery, working closely with licensed counselors and other healthcare professionals. Your efforts will contribute directly to our clients' success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intake assessments and assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate or co-facilitate group and individual counseling sessions under the supervision of a licensed counselor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.
- Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders and the recovery process.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and Title 42 CFR Part 2, ensuring strict confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications:
Certification:
- Valid CDCA certification from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
- Qualified Mental Health Specialist III (QMHP III)
- Experience: Previous experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
