Job Summary
Arcstone Financials’ seeks an Arizona Compliance Manager to serve as the Responsible Individual for the company’s Arizona Mortgage Banker/Broker License. This role ensures the organization remains in full compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S. §§ 6-901 et seq. and 6-941 et seq.) and Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) regulations. The Compliance Manager will oversee all Arizona mortgage activity, prepare for state audits, and serve as a key liaison with the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions (AZDFI).
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the designated Responsible Individual for Arizona mortgage licensing and compliance.
- Supervise compliance with all applicable Arizona mortgage bankers and broker statutes and rules (A.R.S. & A.A.C.).
- Prepare the company for AZDFI audits and examinations, including sending regular updates and expectations to leadership.
- Review Arizona loan reports, application logs, and in-process loan data to monitor activity and ensure regulatory alignment.
- Oversee and review all communications to and from AZDFI and direct internal responses as needed.
- Provide guidance to internal staff regarding Arizona mortgage compliance requirements.
Skills Requirement
- Must meet AZDFI requirements to serve as the Responsible Individual.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona mortgage laws and licensing procedures.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Experience | Education
- Proven experience in mortgage compliance, regulatory management, or operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in mortgage compliance, state regulatory affairs, or a related field.
