Job Summary
Arcstone Financial is
seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Division President and Chief
Production Officer (CPO) to lead and expand the company’s retail mortgage
division. The CPO will be responsible for all revenue-generating activities
within the retail channel, including the oversight of sales and marketing
efforts, strategic growth, talent acquisition, and branch performance.
This executive will oversee the management, growth, and operational
integrity of the retail division, they will supervise mortgage loan officers
and branch managers, while ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance
standards. The CPO is also expected to drive recruitment of high-performing
loan originators and branch leaders, strengthen market presence, and help shape
Arcstone’s retail brand and reputation across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all production and sales activities
across Arcstone's retail lending division, including oversight of loan
officers, branch managers, and regional teams.
- Build and scale internal systems, workflows,
technology integrations, and retail-specific infrastructure to support rapid
expansion and long-term sustainability.
- Manage and grow branch’s P&L, ensuring
profitability and adherence to established company margins and performance
benchmarks.
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard
high-performing mortgage loan officers and branch managers aligned with
Arcstone’s culture and production standards.
- Develop and execute market-specific strategies
to grow retail loan volume, expand branch presence, and capture high-quality,
compliant business.
- Partner with marketing to develop and deploy
campaigns that support branch growth, enhance brand awareness, and generate
borrower leads.
- Ensure loan-level compliance with federal,
state, agency, and investor guidelines through proactive collaboration with
credit, legal, and compliance departments.
- Define and track performance KPIs and SLAs
across retail sales teams to maintain high accountability, responsiveness, and
service excellence.
- Report regularly to leadership on division
performance, staffing needs, pipeline health, operational efficiency, and
profitability.
- Serve as the final escalation point for
loan-level or client-level issues requiring executive resolution or
decision-making authority.
- Lead monthly sales meetings and contribute to
strategic planning sessions, and drive execution of tactical growth
initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding and integration of new
branches or loan officers, ensuring fast ramp-up, strong engagement, and high
retention.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, market shifts,
and regulatory developments to ensure Arcstone remains competitive and
compliant in all retail markets.
- Collaborate with capital markets to optimize
pricing strategies that drive both competitiveness and profit margin integrity.

Experience | Education
- Bachelor’s degree
required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of
experience in mortgage banking, with direct leadership over a sales team.
- Proven track record
of developing, scaling, and managing a profitable sales division.
- Knowledge of agency,
Non-QM, and investor guidelines, including correspondent and delegated
requirements.
- Strong command of
mortgage technology platforms, including Encompass, Optimal Blue, and CRM tools.
- Demonstrated ability
to lead cross-functional teams and meet aggressive business growth timelines.
- Experience managing
branch-level and divisional P&L.
