Job Summary
Arcstone Financial is seeking a Senior
Processor to perform the daily functions connected with loan processing. The Sr.
Processor will effectively process loans in accordance with company policies
and procedures. The duties for Sr. Processor include, but are not limited to,
those described below.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify, compile, and input application
information for mortgage loans.
- Review residential loan application files to
ensure completeness and compliance with establishment standards.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations
teams to update all parties daily on closing timelines and loan process status
via email or phone calls.
- Run reports and update systems to facilitate
management's performance reporting on loan files.
- Recommend denial for loans not meeting
standards.
- Independently resolve discrepancies with
Credit Bureaus, Appraisal Desk, and other vendors without involving sales
staff.
- Utilize knowledge of Automated Underwriting
Systems (AUS) such as DU, LP, Total Scorecard, and other websites for
approvals.
- Contact specified companies to obtain property
abstract, survey, and appraisal.
- Notify supervisor of any discrepancies in
files.
- Meet 24–48-hour timelines for closing.
- Submit mortgage loan application files for
underwriting approval.
- Communicate approval and denial letters to
applicants.
- Submit approved mortgage loan files to the
closing party for settlement.
- Record data on loan status, including new
applications and approvals, using computer systems.
- Perform related tasks
and additional responsibilities as directed by the Processing Team Manager, or
other senior management.
Skills Requirement
- Strong knowledge of loan processing
procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in mortgage software systems,
with experience using Encompass LOS (Loan Origination System) platforms
preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team
members.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented,
with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems
and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
and upholding ethical standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word,
and Excel.
Experience | Education
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate or bachelor's degree in finance, busines, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years' experience in mortgage loan processing.
