As Fingercheck continues to grow, we want to preserve our people-centric, high-performance culture. As a result, we are looking for a thoughtful, inspiring, and passionate Head of People & Culture, reporting to the Chief People Officer.
As a member of the leadership team, you will help lead all aspects of the people, culture, DEI, and belonging, work at Fingercheck. You will also serve as an advisor to the Chief People Officer and an expert to the product teams in order to shape roadmaps and enhancements related to the HR tech and payroll offerings the company offers to small businesses.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Helps shape and communicate the values of the organization and integrate it into everyday processes and learnings.
Leads and implements an integrated talent management approach for organizational effectiveness (i.e., cultural onboarding, job descriptions, hiring, pay structures, pay cycles, performance cycles, etc.)
Acts as the primary point of contact for the designated business unit(s) that address issues pertinent to HR and business unit alignment, organizational effectiveness, and/or leadership capabilities.
Facilitates the implementation of cross-functional communications relating to people & culture programs or initiatives, annual cycles/processes, and change management efforts.
Develops and implements our employee experience feedback survey and HR metrics strategy.
Represents employee interest and consistently assesses attitudes and engagement.
Identifies critical HR metrics and shares results with the appropriate business leaders.
Develops relationships and serves as the first point of contact for employees and leaders who need basic questions addressed.
Responsible for HR & Corporate Policies, statuses on EEOC filings, defined special projects, employment law, and compliance.
Assist in maintaining the Employee Playbook, as well as its applicability to state and federal labor laws. Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
SALARY BAND: Negotiable; but $75,000 - $100,000 depending on location
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. Previous leadership experience required; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Professional of Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong knowledge of human resource laws and regulations.
Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload and work with confidential materials and employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Able to participate in and facilitate group meetings. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, customer interaction, decision-making, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects.
