Mavericks Office Solutions is a Xerox Gold Partner and the largest Katun ARIVIA dealer in Ohio. We sell, lease and service copiers and multifunction printers (MFPs), and we also provide managed IT, cybersecurity and VoIP to businesses across Ohio, Southeast Michigan and Western Pennsylvania. We're based in Mentor and we're growing.

THE ROLE

This is an entry-level job for someone who is mechanically minded and wants a career, not just a job. You'll learn copier and printer repair from our experienced technicians, starting with installs, deliveries and preventive maintenance. As your skills grow, you'll move up to running your own service calls. No copier experience required. We'll train the right person.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Ride along with and assist senior technicians on service calls and installs

- Clean, perform preventive maintenance and replace parts on copiers and printers

- Help deliver, set up and connect new equipment at customer sites

- Prep and test equipment in our shop before delivery

- Learn to troubleshoot paper feed, image quality and network/scan issues

- Record work orders, parts and meter readings in our field service app

WHAT YOU BRING

- Mechanical aptitude: you like figuring out how things work and fixing them

- Basic computer skills, and an interest in networking and technology

- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn

- A professional, friendly attitude with customers

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and help move equipment

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Nice to have: electronics, mechanical, or trade school background; help desk or IT experience; CompTIA A+.

- $17 - $20 per hour starting pay
