Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced manager to oversee our growing State Arbitration Department. This role requires strong management skills, high-level familiarity with state legislation and regulatory processes, and the ability to research, understand, and apply state-specific requirements in a fast-moving environment.

The Manager will be responsible for leading team members and team leads, maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met, and helping the department scale in an organized and effective way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the State Arbitration Department and ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

  • Oversee team leads and team members, providing direction, accountability, and support.

  • Develop and maintain clear workflows, reporting structures, and internal processes to support department growth.

  • Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and consistency.

  • Maintain a high-level understanding of relevant state legislation, rules, and procedural requirements.

  • Research state-specific requirements as needed and translate findings into clear operational guidance for the team.

  • Coordinate with senior leadership regarding department performance, staffing needs, workflow challenges, and strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably overseeing multiple team members or team leads.

  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume department with strong attention to deadlines and detail.

  • Strong research skills and the ability to understand and apply state legislation, regulations, or procedural requirements.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to create structure, improve processes, and hold teams accountable.

  • Experience in arbitration, legal operations, compliance, healthcare, or regulatory environments is a plus.

Shift Requirements

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to coordinate with teams across multiple time zones, including overlap with Israel Standard Time (IST) and availability for afternoon/evening alignment with executive leadership working Eastern Standard Time (EST).
