Compensation

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead teams in a fast-paced, detail-oriented operations environment.

This role is best suited for someone who has directly managed people and teams, not only projects or processes. The ideal candidate has experience overseeing employee performance, coaching team members, managing workload, improving quality, and ensuring deadlines are met.

The work involves structured workflows, documentation review, deadline-driven submissions, quality control, internal coordination, and ongoing process improvement. Strong operational skills are important, but the main focus of the role is people leadership and team accountability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team and taking ownership of overall team performance
  • Monitoring productivity, quality, workload, and deadlines
  • Coaching, training, and developing team members
  • Working with team leads to ensure daily workflow is moving properly
  • Addressing performance issues and reinforcing standards
  • Supporting hiring, onboarding, staffing, and team structure
  • Managing escalations and resolving operational or personnel issues
  • Identifying process gaps and helping improve efficiency and consistency
  • Reporting to senior leadership on performance, risks, staffing needs, and operational priorities
  • For senior-level candidates, the role may include managing managers or multiple teams, overseeing broader operational performance, improving processes across teams, and supporting resource planning

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience directly managing a team
  • Strong people-management skills, including coaching, accountability, feedback, and performance management
  • Ability to lead in a high-volume, detail-sensitive environment
  • Strong organization, judgment, follow-through, and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing metrics, deadlines, escalations, and changing priorities
  • Experience in healthcare operations, claims, billing, insurance, legal operations, reimbursement, or similar regulated/document-heavy environments is a plus
  • Reliable wired internet connection through a router (hotspots and dongles are not permitted)
  • Availability for at least 4–5 hours of overlap with U.S. business hours
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week)

Important:

This is a management role, not only an operations-support role. We are looking for candidates who have been responsible for people, performance, and team outcomes.
