Overview:
Panda Technology is hiring a Level 1 Field Technician to
provide on-site IT support at client locations.
This role is suited for a hands-on, tech-savvy individual who enjoys being in
the field and solving problems face-to-face.
Responsibilities:
- Visit client sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot
hardware and networking equipment
- Set up workstations, printers, and other peripherals
- Coordinate with remote support for escalations
- Document all work and customer interactions
- Ensure timely and professional delivery of services
Requirements:
- 1+ year of IT experience in a customer-facing role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, if needed
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
Preferred:
- Previous experience supporting multi-site clients
- Familiarity with structured cabling, basic switching, and AV systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
