Overview
We’re looking for a Network and Cloud Engineer who can help us manage, optimize, and support our cloud and on-prem environments. This role is a mix of hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, design, and documentation. You’ll work closely with our service team to support client environments, improve reliability, and deliver solid solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or both) including virtual networks, compute, storage, and identity.

Handle network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting across firewalls, switches, wireless, and VPNs.

Build and maintain secure network and cloud architectures.

Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Review alerts, diagnose issues, and resolve escalations from the service desk.

Deploy and maintain infrastructure as code or automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell, Azure Automations, etc.).

Maintain documentation in ITGlue or equivalent systems.

Ensure environments follow security and compliance requirements.

Participate in project work such as migrations, cloud adoption, network upgrades, and security initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience

Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).

Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, pfSense, or Cisco.

Solid hands-on experience in Azure or AWS.

Background in Microsoft 365 administration.

Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).

Good understanding of identity and access management concepts.

Ability to handle escalated issues and communicate clearly with non-technical users.

Comfortable working in an MSP or fast-paced support environment.
Nice to Have

Azure or AWS certifications.

Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python).

Knowledge of monitoring tools, SIEM, and cloud security platforms.

Experience with SD-WAN or advanced networking.

Project experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations, cloud network redesigns, or firewall consolidations.
