As Fingercheck continues to grow, we want to preserve our people-centric, high-performance culture. As a result, we are looking for a thoughtful, inspiring, and passionate Accounting Specialist, reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
As an Accounting Specialist, you will undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company’s revenues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and can provide top-notch customer support while simultaneously engaging with our intuitive, all-in-one HR platform and QuickBooks. All-in-all, you would take on the role of customer liaison and ensure that clients build long-lasting, profitable relationships with Fingercheck.

SALARY BAND: $55,000-$60,000 Annually
Essential Responsibilities
Assisting clients with processing payments and/or billing-related questions
Creating invoices and putting together pertinent billing materials
Resolving any billing issues or errors that arise
Making outbound collection calls in a fast-paced environment
Staying up to par with the goal-oriented ‘Accounts Receivable’ department
Deposits accounts receivable payments into the company’s bank account
Assists with monthly status reports, accruals, and monthly closings
Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards
Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
At least 2 years of customer service experience
At least 1 year of accounts receivable/payable experience
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to communicate efficiently and collaborate with team members
Detail-oriented
HCM/Payroll Experience preferred
Result-oriented and data-driven, with a proven ability to set, communicate and meet short and long-term goals
